Living with an untrained dog is a lot like owning a piano that you do not know how to play. Now try taking piano lessons, and suddenly the piano comes alive. The same is true with your Labrador Retriever, as soon as you enroll him in an obedience class you will see good manners as you learn how and why he behaves the way he does. Find out how to communicate with your dog and how to recognize and understand his communications with you. Suddenly the dog takes on a new role in your life, he is smart, interesting, well behaved and fun to be with, and he demonstrates his bond of devotion to you daily.

Woods Ferry Kennel has an Obedience Training Program. Most of our activities are here at the Kennel, Broad River, Sumter National Forest, Monticello Lake, SC and surrounding duck ponds and dove fields.

Obedience classes start at $500.00 for 30 days. You will get three days of evaluation, this evaluation period is free, so we can come to a conclusion on how long and what our training classes will include for training each individual Labrador, because the training is different according to age and the breeding. The training is recommended to start at the age of 16 weeks old (20 weeks at the most), it’s like working with a dry sponge in a pool of water. The pup soaks up whatever you show him and constantly looks for more things to do and learn.

Also, if you purchase a Labrador from us you will receive a 10% discount in this training. Before any classes begins, the customer will be asked to sign unconditional contract and to provide all registration paper and any Veterinarian paper on his/her health.
